Child First is a registered Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) under Trustee Incorporation Act whose aim is to enhance the lives of children living in both Rural and urban areas through interventions and activities which enable them to maximise their potential to be successful in their life.

Child First is a child centered organisation for which reason it focuses very much on the wellbeing and the future of a child. Child First believes that thinking about our children and prioritising them, is very much important. This is why the organisation will always strive to fight for the good future and wellbeing of every child through;

Our mission is to enhance the lives of children living in both rural and urban areas through interventions and activities which enable them to maximise their potential to be successful in their life.

The vision we're working towards is to be the hope for better future for the children in the society.

• To help children to live the full potential of a life through activities that will enable them to build a successful career.
• To improve the living standards of children by the use of initiatives which would help them have an access to their basic needs.
• To engage other stakeholders to join hands for support to improve the welfare of needy and vulnerable children.
• To help and connect children with people who are passionate about improving the lives of young people.

The Child First organisation has a number of core values that cascade down from the Chairperson, The Board of Directors, and Management and to everyone involved. The organisation will always try to ensure that all values are upheld, and that it is always striving to increase and add to those core values.

1. God fearing

   We believe putting God first is the only way one can be successful in life, and as such, children need to be well disciplined to become successful professionals.

2. Honesty

   Child First in all its dealings, not only internally but externally, tries to show complete honesty and openness and to show its Board, its Management, its Staff and everyone involved to be upright, fair, truthful and sincere.

3. Integrity

   The organisation prides itself on the integrity it shows in all its dealings. It adheres to and expects all those involved showing the very highest moral and ethical principles, and to make decisions for the organisation and all those people involved at all levels within

4. Realism

   Whilst we all want to progress and achieve greater things, we always have to be aware that realism to one’s situation has to be taken into account. We have to be realistic in our approach to many aspects of Football Academy business. We have to ensure that our aims are achievable, and the outcomes possible. Whilst progress is the yard stick with what we want to be measured by, we must not allow that progress to undermine the wellbeing of the Football Academy.

5. Teamwork

   It is our aim to unite all people involved in the work of Child First, we will all strive to work together for one common aim.

6. Respect

   An often overused word; and respect of one another is paramount. As such, it is a word and a value that we strongly believe in at Child First.

7. Equality

   Equality is not always about treating everyone the same but giving equal opportunities and resources therefore, Child First will always make sure that everyone is supported to have access to resources and decision making and to be recognised, valued and respected for the concept of equality to be successful.
