A. Introduction: This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is entered into by Women in Mining Africa (WiMAfrica) and Child First (hereafter referred to as the Implementing Partner, (IP) to formalize their partnership in empowering women and children in the mining sector in Malawi. Both parties recognize the importance of collaboration to achieve common objectives and address the challenges faced by women and children in mining communities.

B. Parties to the Agreement: WiM-Africa, represented by Dr Comfort Asokoro-Ogaji, and the Implementing Partner, represented by Rabson Woodwell being the Executive Director, hereby agree to enter into this partnership to work together on programs and initiatives aimed at community empowerment, women empowerment, development programs and projects, and empowering women and children in the mining sector in Malawi (hereafter referred to as the Country).
